My Cure to The Wisconsin Winter Blues, Mods on the Bob
After 2 years on my starter bike (honda) I finally got the bike I wanted from day 1 in April. Heres a pic of my '06 street bob the day I brought it home.
I was pretty dang happy with it, but one (too short) riding season later, and this forum got me thinkin that it didnt look like MY bike, just A bike.
The first things i changed was i got the black finned derby and timer cover and relocated the horn.
Then i did my lower belt guard and a laydown licence plate bracket.
I picked up some new levers, and mirrors, then relocated the signals (which i blacked out) to the forks, and ran my wiring through the bars. I then decided to push my headlight out a bit.
I put forward controls on, blacked out the battery band, the strut covers (not shown), Made the grenade pegs for the passenger, made my own AC cover from a $4 pan i got at goodwill, and my vance and hines big radius 2-1 from ebay for $225!
Looks a lot better from the first pic IMO, but im not quite done yet!
Let me know what ya think!

I think the grenade pegs are kinda cheesecake and the mirrors look like some OCC skull and dagger stuff. Aside from that, I think everything you've done looks great and the fact that you did it in your garage rather than throwing money at the dealer is that much more respectable. Are you sure about that headlight hanging out like that, though? Kinda goofy..

Country punk, I'm not sure about anything, but that's the nice thing about having tools in my garage, I can change anything I want as soon as i get sick of it. For now, I like the way everything looks. Idk what cheesecake has to do with anything, Ive never tried eating on the bike, but I like the pegs, thats why I took the time to make em.
