Harleys new chopped rear fender kit
Anyone else see that the company is now selling a kit for chopping the rear fender? It just kills them to see us doing these things for free. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

We laugh but a guy I work with won't let anyone BUT the dealer put parts on his bike and 99%, they have to be factory HD parts too.
I've giving him a hard time now cause here he is, trying to trade it in on a street glide (his is a 07 Lowrider) and is PISSED cause he has 26k wrapped up in it with all the labor and parts and they want to give him 14k. (Which I still think is a great deal for him considering).
A fool and his money........

I guess it all depends on where your priorities are. I do all my own work as well, but I've got a buddy knockin' down probably $250K a year, and he never turns a wrench on his bike. Says all he wants to do is ride it. Different strokes for different bank accounts. No matter how much $$ I've got, it's hard to see anyone else mess with my scoot. I guess it's a personal thing.

DAMMIT I wanted to post up the Canadian price for a laugh but the price is unavailable at this time! Count on it being at least 100$ more. I wanted to try chopping my rear fender but the FB fender curves up not down,I can't figure what might look good right yet. BTW the pic on their website does look kinda dirt bike-ish. Like some dilapidated wanna-be parasol. It just sits too high,so I guess you pay exorbitant money for a product and then have to mod it to look good.
