chrome pipes or black? If chrome, just use some mothers aluminum polish or something of that persuasion. will rub right off.

E-Zoff oven cleaner has been a traditional method (on chrome pipes) ofor taking heel rubber off. It may work for plastic too.

Oven cleaner works for me. Difficult stains follow directions on can. Heat the pipes a little and allow a little time. Fumes are strong. Use in a ventilated area.

Step 1: Get can of EZ-off

Step 2: Call friend over

Step 3: Hand EZ-off to friend

Step 4: Get beer from fridge

Step 5: watch friend scrub his mistake off your bike, making sure to pay close attention and give plenty of instruction as to ensure job is done correctly and to prevent having to set down beer.

After two repetitions of this exact method my girlfriend has finally learned to keep her damn foot on the peg!

Another vote for EZ off. Spray the ex off on a rag away frm the bike and then use the rag to wipe the arm pipes so you do not screw up the finish on your motor or other parts of your bike. Rephrase that. Have friend spray easy off on a rag.
