Default swingarm upgrade

new addition to suspension upgrades.alloy swingarm from metmachex in england.less unsprung weight.i am on a diet now.arrived 2 weeks from order.direct replacement fo 2004 fxdx.very nice piece.

$920.00 delivered.expensive but researched.jmc about the same price but 22 week plus turnaround.sputhe currently not in production.

arrived yesterday have not had a chance to weigh.plan to weigh an compare to the take off when installed.

That's an amazing swing arm!! I wanted a JMC for years but never got one. Do they have them available for the newer dynas?

ged533, on the '06 Streetbob the passenger foot pegs are mounted by two bolts secured in the corner braces of the swingarm, not to the frame. Is this true of the '04 FXDX as well, and can you mount pegs on the metmachex swingarm? I couldn't tell from the photos if there is enough room on the corners of the swingarm. I'm also interested in what your swingarm weighs. I asked metmachex and was told about 20-21 pounds which is very close to the OEM swingarm weight of 22 pounds. Can you confirm those figures? I'm interested in lowering unsprung weight, too. I put Excel aluminum wheel rims on my bike, and it made an incredible difference- the bike seems to "fall into turns" now. I'm also putting composite brake rotors on this month to further reduce unsprung weight. Your model is the inspiration for a great handling Harley. Jay
