The hole isn't really an issue. The battery will have to go back there, and I can just as easily put the stock electronic cover back on the other side sans stock electronics. More than likely, this Is what I'll do until I can decide something cool to do there. I'd love to take a grinder and clean up all the stock brackets and what not, then modify a round or horseshoe oil bag to fit in there. I could put my few electronics in there and be good to go. We'll see what happens.

Hole = 'drop seat' ...

hmmmm ... can't you chuck the battery and go with a magneto ...?

Are you familiar with Fat Baggers, Inc. (http://www.fatbaggers.com/index.html)?

They've got a 3" drop seat kit for baggers ... you could copy the concept for Dynas ....

Magnetos are Very expensive, but yes, that is an alternative. My battery needs replacing anyway, I'm going to see how much smaller of a battery I can put on there. Drop seat...God no. lol

I have to agree completely. Rounders bike is beautiful. As for Punks FXDX I have to agree as well with cleaning up the wiring. I have a "99" FXDX that the previous owner put lights and anything else they could think of on, Straightening the wire mess out is going to be a challenge. My 2 cents. Love the site. You guy's really have great idea's. Very creative. KEVIN

Modified your diagram slightly...added protection and isolation, and retained the lights on the ACC circuit, for the dreaded "breakdown on the side of the highway at night needing lights without making the coil hot". Could not overwrite fuse AMP rating text into your pic, but just look at your old fusebox to see the AMP rating needed for each circuit, and copy.
