Does everybody have wrinkles in their Mustang Vintage Solo?

Mustang Seat
My seat has ripples and looks like those pictured. Mustang said to return it and they would replace or fix it. I didn't want to lose the time for all that shipping so I kept it. Also I hoped it would get better in time. Well it hasn't and it's been 1 1/2 years and 11K miles, but it sure is comfortable. It's never my butt that that goes to sleep on long rides!

their quality control seems to suck! I remember talking to the guy on the phone about my seat... his story basically summarizes into we make a lot of seats and workers are sometimes rushed blah blah blah.... try quality control... hire more workers...hire better skilled workers....whatever.... just stop pumping out defective products.... of course maybe they do this because they know most customers won't be bothered by having a product not quite right. I sure would have returned my seat back immediately had I known it was defective from the start. Kinda wish I had a lepera or other brand now.

Well I got my brand new Mustang seat today from Dennis Kirk. guess what 'WRINKLE'. Same spot as the 4 seats I got in 08. This time just one Wrinkle not 3 or 4 like last time. I'm not happy with this seat but I don't think it's worth all the hassle to send it back. I will just try to live with this one. I'm going to let Dennis Kirk and Mustang know that I will keep it, but I'm not real happy about it.
Mustang better do something about there quality.

Update to Wrinkle Problem
Well I received my replacement seat today from Mustang. I had returned my 2nd defective wrinkled seat on Monday morning to my Harley dealer. I spoke with Alex at Mustang and explained the problem. He had a seat pulled and inspected before sending it to my Harley dealer.I just installed it and took a couple of pictures for everyone to see. I will say they addressed the problem and got me taken care of in a little less than a week. This is the type of customer service that needs to be recognized. I want to thank Mustang for the quick service and look forward to many comfortable miles.
