I'm not a fan of fork braces that install by clamping the fork tubes and possibly distorting them.An over the fender design is better but probably would not sell.

Thumbs up SuperBrace

+1 for the Superbrace:

Install was simple, took a minute or so.
Fit and finish is perfect... (4) little bolts... put a dab of loc-tite on them and snugged em down to 10ft/lbs (per the instructions).
The fork gaiters popped right back onto the Superbrace.
The front end vibration i used to get at highway speeds is now gone... had it up to 110mph this past weekend w/ no noticeable front-end vibes.

Ordered mine in flat black w/ the 20% off deal, got it shipped to my door for ~$160.
IMO, it was worth the money for the results.

I have a fork brace on all of my Sportsters so far except my 2009 XR1200. For me, IMO, I feel that they do provide a more solid feeling in the front end while under hard cornering and at high freeway speeds.

I found mine to work well at higher freeway speeds. Its like its on a rail. To detractors what don't you like about it? Other than it dose not do anything.

I have one on my bike. It adds a little more chrome. It does nothing to change the handling or the ride.

I have one on my FB. It adds a little more black to the front. It did nothing as far as I can tell to change the handling or the ride. I do ride aggressively sometimes and over quite a few bumpy roads. They may be more effective for worn or small diameter forks. I know many of the older model bike riders swear by them.

Of all my mods, this is the one that has the lowest return on investment.

Some front ends needed more stabilization for the tubes and lower legs especially if there was no front fender so the tweek bar was invented. This was used on the narrow glides on the sporty and super glides. The wide glide never needed it!

Wink

Much earlier in this thread PKellyMc predicted a 50/50 split and he was just about dead on with 8 pros and 7 cons.

In order to settle the debate once and for all, I'll cast a vote in favor of the fork brace making it a clear winner 9-7!

By the way, PKellyMc, what's your prediction for the Superbowl? I need all the help I can get!
