I was gonna mention these bags. They are not listed on H-D website anymore. In the 2010 catalog as part # 90300-98a. They also state they are for 96 to 01 models. Obviously they fit on yours though.

I am not sure why but mine are part# 901-98A (left side) and 902-98A (right side.

Dons Cycleware has a set of throwover slant bags made especially for dyna, no turn signal relocation. http://donscycleware.com/lethovsaforh.html, I have a set of his sportster bags, all leather and a decent set of bags for the money.

Both front and rear? Wow, those must be some HUGE bags. I'd estimate them to be 6 foot long.

I think I'm going to order these:

http://www.saddlemen.com/store/index...oducts_id=7208

Seem pretty nice for the price, plus you don't have to have saddlebag supports since it goes over the shocks.

TourMaster bags - they are throwovers, well, at least the pair I have, and they fit nicely in between the shocks and rear lights. www.tourmaster.com

IMO, they are the best available bag that fits between the shock and turn-signal without relocations or modifications. Plus they follow the lines of the bike, unlike the Willie and Max bags.

really? got any pictures of your mod posted anywhere?

I think you changed my mind, I think I'm going with the Fox Creek ones. I ordered one of their jackets last month and I can't be any happier with the fit, quality and customer service.
