Self Install HD SmartSecurity System 2010 Super Glide
#11
I have the factory alarm on my bike and for my birthday I got a gift card for the local Dealer. I went and bought the siren modual but could not get it to fit as the plug from my Power Commander was half way into the spot that the siren was ment to be in. I returned the 100$ siren and went to Radio Shack and bought this

I wired it into the plug for the siren modual and it works great.
There is a "how to" on this forum in the Touring section.
Who ever posted the How To saved me 90$. Thank you very much

I successfully installed the security system and married the TSSM module to the bike using the following steps found here:

The physical installation took 10 minutes. It is the marrying of the TSSM module to the bike process that takes the most time. Overall a very easy process. Now off to the dealer to get the key fobs programmed.

I've been trying to install the TSSM all day today following these instructions. But after the first 10 minutes, the red light does not go off.
Anyone conquer this problem & have advice?
