I have been considering doing a tank swap. I really like my current set-up but just wanting something different. I got a idea of what it is going to cost me for my new parts but not sure what i could get out of my old set-up.

What do you think I can get for my. Bars, Speedo mount, tach and tach mount, wiring harness with dummy lights and tach hook up. This cost me around $800 in parts from Zanottis and all looks brand new. It would be a easy siwtch for some one to put on, just need to mount their speedo.

Any thoughts, I have a general idea what I can get for my tank and other parts I wont need.

It's a great setup and I know it's like new,But it's a tuff market out there.You may be able to get $350.give or take a few bucks.It's tuff to get 50% of the cost when it was new!

 

Which swap are you wanting to do? I would like a wide glide or fat bob tank and dash but not sure if it would be a straight swap or not...

I would like to keep a tach so most likely will go the low rider route, but putting a Speedo/tach combo in the bigger tank isnt out of the question either.

 

Want to swap your tank for one off a 05 Wide Glide? Yours would work perfectly with some new mods I will be making soon.
I have one all primed and ready for paint.

yours is one of the nicer and unique setups out there.

my personal number for ebay parts is not more than 50% msrp.
used parts even less.
since you bought yurs at a discount, i'd guess the 50% number is accurate

He's right!! I wouldn't change a thing on your bike. Yours is one of the finer Superglides around. Keep posting pictures of her too!!

 

tanks will swap but dash is different. you need to get a wg dash. i have a nice 07 WG tank in for sale section

 

If anyone wants to swap their Super Glide tank and console setup, I would be willing to swap for my WG tank with console and guages, including the tach and Kury LED informer and flush gas cap. PM if interested
