Default Wraping Pipes

I plan on adding some Cycle Shack turn-out mufflers to my Bob, and want to wrap the header pipes. Has anyone wrapped over the heat shields of the stock pipes? Any help is appreciated.

I removed the heat shields and wrapped the pipes to the slip-ons. I really like it!

5th on my front pipe was a dent (that's what you get at the swapmeet if you don't want to spend the whole paycheck) so l took some aluminum foil and patch it up (it works like a dream)
