Default New Exhaust

I have an 06 super glide. Have put the screaming eagles on with the stage one air cleaner /flash upgrade. I now wish to put on a set of V&H short shots.
Do I need to put a new fuel management unit in???? They are costly. Or will all be OK to just put the pipes on without damage to engine?

You dont have to, but it would make your bike run a whole lot better. The money you save in fuel consumption will pay for the fuel managment device over time.

short pipes are more apt to move you in to a too lean condition than either a long pipe, 2-1 or slipons. IMHO get a TTS mastertune.

Thanks guys, advice / oppions are most welcome. I did have these pipes on some time ago and they burbled and cracked a bit, that was when the dealer said to get them off as the fuel management needs upgrade/ power comander or the cheaper systems.
