Default Kuryakyn Cruise Control for Dyna

Did a Search but couldn't find this one.
I didn't know Kuryakyn made any kind of Cruise. On there Web site # 6280. $199. This is not what I would call a real cruise control but it's close. Works by Electromagnetic's, push-button on and off. Will also turn off with a tap on the Brakes. Kit includes new ISO grips, and chrome brake and clutch handle's. I seen it in the new 2010 Dennis Kirk catalog on pg 704, part #19-00247 $179.
One thing I wouldn't like about this is going up large hills the bike would slow down and speed up going down hill. I would think when riding on relatively level roads it will work pretty good. I would love to have cruse control on long rides.
Has any one got this kind/? if not what do you think of this?...Thanks.

Sounds pretty decent. These type of cruise control's are good when on the flats but not so great otherwise.

For a long time I've used these $10 Throttle Tender's. Still do on my Softail. I switched to the SAC grips/cruise on my bagger now.

Just put em on my bike a month ago....seem to fit the intended purpose pretty well. But like you said they are not a traditional cruise control but a slightly fancier throttle lock. Easy install good bang for the buck.

Thanks guys.
johnd5412,,, So, it sounds like you like it.
When I use the stock tensioner I don't feel real safe because I might need to make a emergency stop. Do you feel that way when you have the Kuryakyn Cruise on? did you have to take the stock tensioner off to install the Kuryakyn? You said it was a easy install, so I'm assuming you did that your self...Thanks.

You bet I like them. I did not have to remove the throttle tensioner. Just make sure it is not tight. Most difficult part of the install is tapping into the correct electrical wires but the manual helped me out there. If you need help during your install just PM me.

You bet...also just so you know the pkg kury lines are black so if you wanted braided lines get them before the install unless you are okay with black. I didn't braid and it looks fine to me but to each his own.
