Default Wide Glide Conversion kit

I am planing on getting a wide glide conversion kit for my 05 fxd and I have a few questions for you guys. How hard do you think this will be to do? and do you think it will still handle as well as it does now? I have all the tools and a nice jack and I pretty good with my hands. The kit is from jpcycles: 39 MM triple Tree conversion kit: Smooth chrome finish, Accepts the stock fork assembly, front fender, wheel and headlight. Kit come with chrome upper and lower triple trees, stem, stem nut, fork stops, axle, axle spacers, fender spacers and rotor spacers.

Jpcycles link to kit

What you think?

Thanks, Donnie

To get the same look/rake, you will have to go with raked trees, otherwsie, you'll still have the same profile from the side....

Would have been easier to buy the wide glide in the first place.
Were you going to change the rake on the frame also?
If not it will just look like a Superglide with Wide Glide front end.

Put it on my bike in a couple hours. Not hard at all. I needed to buy a new lower neck bearing. That was the only part I needed.

I've always liked the wide glide except for the rear bob fender, that where I think the superglide looks better. I would have bought a wide glide if I could have found a used one for a decent price instead I bought the Superglide I have now and really like it.

I tried the link but no image was available.

yeah I don't no why there's no image but there is one in the catalog.

I'm the same way with the wg I hate the fender but love everything else. When I get done I'll have a wg and it will have the superglide fender

EDIT: I found a place with pics - Click Here
