New to the forum + handle bar question
Hey guys,
I just recently bought a used '08 street bob (pics soon to come) and I want to get new ape hangers to make it mine. I've been thinking either the Roland Sands Vintage or Kodlin Bonanza bars. I'm looking for a 12'' rise. What do you think?
Also when I replace the bars will I need to extend the wires to run them internally? If so whats the easiest way to do it?
Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forums man. You'll learn a lot here. I have the RSD vintage bars on my bike. I think they look great and I like the feel. I did NOT need longer wires. BUT, I had to disassemble the wire plugs to fish the wires through the bars. It was not hard but just remember to take a pic of the plugs prior so you can put the correct color wire where it belongs. Good luck.

both bars are nice.
road 6 customs makes bars in the same style for cheaper.
kodlin's **** is always on back order so you might want to check into that.
i'd head into your local dealer or indy and try sitting on bikes with apes.
a lot of guys go for 12" apes and regret it and end up switching to something taller relatively quickly.
your mileage may vary, but i'd imagine you only want to spend your money once.
