Default Burp from pipes and seafoam question.

I added about 4 oz of seafoam and took the bike out for a quick ride(no plates)so it was only about 5-10 min. then let the bike run in my garage another 10-15 min.

when i shut her down after about 3-4 seconds there was a burping sound from the pipes. i started back up turned off and burp again.

is this normal??

thanks-

I've used seafoam for years in all my gas engines and never noticed any unusual noises. Are you sure that you didn't use too much?

It's rude to burp in public. LOL

You have to run a tankfull or two to get the cleaning effects from Seafoam or any other cleaner.
Don't worry about anything until after you do that.

Thanks-

4 oz with about 4 gal of gas. i believe thats the correct amount.

Ed so i guess no harm. Im going to let the Bike sit for the next month and hope there is no problem. I figured by reading when people stored there Bikes using seafoam they put it in and ran it for a few then shut her down.? does everyone run it threw a tank-full?

For storage? You did it exactly the correct way.

I also use Seafoam once in a while just to clean things up (thus the need to run a tankfull once in a while).

Relax, you are good to go!
