I agree with bobber S that I might have to lower it even more to make it flow. I have the lowering blocks on but in the picture the shocks were set up for 2-up riding. I made the mistake of not adjusting them once and we rubbed everytime I hit the brake....or a bump....or gave it gas. I think I will try and tackle this. I guess I can just buy another fender if I screw it up. Thanks again guys.
This sounds like a good idea to me! Aren't both your bikes vivid black?

Thanks for the help guys.
another option would be to get the holes filled in. putting mine back together now, just got the fender back from paint. looks a hell of a lot better IMO. also doin a side mount plate with model A light.

I like the idea of filling in the fender. About what did that cost to have done? Assuming that I paint it myself. Jshull. Im considering your trade. Is that an 09 bob? Doesnt it have a light at the end of the fender or did you fill it in also?

Okay here is where i'm at. I got the rear end torn apart. The rear lights all plug into a harness under the seat. Then the harness is connected to the taillight. Then the turn signals connect to ports inside the taillight one left and one right. So how am I going to wire up the lights without having to use this taillight? (Im assuming your going to tell me to get a wire tester and find out which ones work then hand wire it) Im just hoping there is an easier way. I ordered the run/brake/turn module today so the signals are all I need. If its too much of a hassle I might run a side-brakelight and say screw the signals. Input??

Go with the run, break, turn set up, I did and like the clean look. Not hard to do, just follow the instructions once you receive your rbt kit.

It's not hard at all... just think about how to secure the wires under the fender between the sigs and the seat.
My fender has bendable metal tabs... I think most of the people using the new WG fender are using the stock 'tape' on conduit.

Here's a link to how I did mine: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...home-made.html

"the circuit board in the taillight housing is nothing more than a juction box for your wires. if you install the run/brake module under your seat(it just plugs inline, takes 2 seconds) you can get ride of the module and just run the turn signal wire to control the lights."

you really should have a service manual and a circuit tester(or a spare light bulb and a piece of wire) if you dont know what your doing.

the wires for the signals are the same color from the harness to the bulbs. cut out the taillight module and solder the sig wires back together without the module. if i remember correctly, its the purple and brown wires for left and right signals, and black is the ground
