Hey everyone I was just wondering where to get a service manual for my bike. I did a search, but started this thread because I want to know if that manual covers everything such as parts electrical etc... or do I need to get other manuals as well?

 

I got mine from the dealer. Three books. Parts, service, and electrical diagnostics. Not cheap, but well worth it if you do all your own work. Might have been $150. About 1/3 what they charge for a full service. It's nice to go in and ask for parts by the H-D part number too.

You can go to the dealer and you can also use Harleydavidson.com. You won't yet find 2009 manuals on ebay, so save yourself a lot of time and just get the three manuals from your dealer. The service manual and parts catalog are invaluable. The electrical manual less so but it is good to have it when you need it.
