Well the winter mods are getting close to being done, the list is below

- Powder coat - Tree's, forks, wheels, mid controls
- Upgraded brakes - Brembo calipers, floating rotors
- Handling - Steering Dampener, Fork brace
- Exhaust - Thunder header
- Adding 4 inch risers and using the factory bars
- Adding harley's 1/4 fairing

 

Nice. The grey DXs look 'bad'.
The black lowers look great. More pics when it's done, ok?

Get rid of the forward controls and go with mids...bad ***.

Your bike is coming along nice , can't wait to see the Thunderheader installed , I had a 1999 FXDX bike on order myself but canceled it for a 1999 lowrider deal that could not be beat .. I always thought the DX had the Hot Rod look with those Duel Disc's up front ! You have a nice color too !

 

Its going to be a great bike when its done, I cant wait to ride it. I am actually going back to mid controls, im not a fan of the forward controls. The steering dampener is made by Daytona, its a nice piece and really stiffens the steering.
