This was such a great thread, I felt like I had to revive it! I was laid up with a ruptured ear drum (due to an ear infection, on top of bronchitis and sinusitis) in January and missed an insurance payment so NC is requiring me to surrender my bike plate for 30 days for an 8-day insurance lapse. (*****)

That means I have 30 days of mods to do, because I'm sure the DOT doesn't care that I was in bed for weeks and didn't read any mail.

 

Yes it was, and was the reason I redid mine the same way as well. ,I also like the fact that I havnt seen another bike with them like it around here yet. Another Thanks to those that contributed to it!!
