OK, I had to lift the gas take up a little to get a socket I dropped in between the tank and the frame and I went a little to far and snapped the plastic quick disconect fitting where the fuel supply line goes into the metal fuel supply tube. I went to the dealer thinking I could just buy the fitting, but I have to buy the whole fuel supply line that has the new fitting already on it for $43. Well, if I have to spend that kind of money I'm thinking of going with maybe a braided line but the Harley book does not list one for an 07 Dyna FXDC. Is there one I can use or is there someplace I can just get a fitting like that? Maybe one for a car? Also, the new fitting is not plastic but metal so I must not have been the only person to have done that.
