Default 07 Wide Glide Front Tire - MH90 or 90/90?
I'm due for a new set of tires for my 2007 Wide Glide after 6500 miles. Rear tire down to 1/32 and front tire not quite 2/32.

After reading quite a few posts on this forum and talking with a couple of friends, I'm planning to try the Metzeler ME-880's.

My question is about going with the 90/90 tire size on the front instead of the stock MH90. Looks like it should fit OK with my stock front wheel/fender. I know several folks have done this, but is there a downside to the slightly larger tire that I'm missing?

By far the best thing I ever did for my bike was replace my tires with Metzelers . Get the 90/90 ...you'll love it !

+1, I swapped out the wheels and tires a couple of weeks ago, wanted to get away from the spokes, went with the Metzlers. I front is maybe 3/8" wider and fit fine, the ride is much better and secure feeling than the stock Dunlops.

I have an '07 Wide and am thinking about ditching the spokes. What wheels did you go with?

I appreciate the feedback on my tire size question. I was leaning that way already, and I'm not hearing anything to suggest I should reconsider. So...ME 880 90/90 is what I plan for the front.
