Kickstand help............
Have a 2000 Dyna, just put the Burley Lowering Kit (11" rear shocks, and lowering springs in front) on my bike and the thing sits way to straight up for my comfort. Shortened my kickstand 1" and shaved down the stop, neither seemed to help.
What do I try next????? Please help before I find my baby lying on her side in the parking lot.........

Park it on some blocks, then it will lean, I'm in the same boat as you. In the garage I put a bottle jack underneath the rightside frame to prevent an accident. I still have the stock kickstand, it still leans a little left but one of these days I will try the shorter kickstand.

I know of your woes! I put the slammer kit in my girlfriends 883L and also bought the 1 in. lower kickstand and shaved the stop and the bike still wants to fall over, I'm going crazy because she won't ride it untill it's fixed which means I'm 2 up all the time. Someone mentioned kickstand wedges but I can only find them for the dyna which might help you. Really don't want the expense of cutting, welding and chroming the stock stand .

I did the same thing to my Low Rider.......lowered it 2".
Just put the following jiffy stand on it........and man what a difference. The Dealer is relieved too. He was worried anyone walking past it while in storage could accidently knock it over.....it stood up so straight. You use the same springs and bolts.
If you shortened yours by an inch, maybe it's the bend angle that's not enough. Anyway, it sits tilted where it should now......and I'm very happy. BTW, my signature photo does NOT have the new stand on it.....and you can see how vertical it was. At times, I coudn't even put the stand down without leaning the bike way over to the right.....and maybe losing it trying to get the stupid stand down.
