i live with my parents too but in something roughly the size of your bathroom.
and to answer a previous question, a 1/2 inch shorter shock won't lower the bike 1/2 inch as the shocks aren't vertical, but rather on an angle. i don't know how much 1/2 inch shorter will lower you down, but i'm sure someone here does.

I prefer to be anywhere else but home during summer, so I'd take any offers to be anywhere in the U.S.A from June till Nov, I'm sure it never exceeds 120 anyway. Imagine living 5 full months in 100+
