Your pictures are much smaller than his.

How necessary is it to change out the gasket on the clutch cover after changing the cable?

I didn't change mine when I put my apes on back in June. I've put a couple thousand miles on it since and no problems yet,

looks good so far. Are you planning on relocating the signals?

I had a stripper ape, but she was too hairy for me and I sent her back.

okay. I will go the free route unless it starts to drip.
Also has anyone else confirmed that you can just move the adjuster to create maximum slack and slide the cable off the pull rod?

thanks! I will probably keep them on the bars for now. I would rather rip them off, but come inspection time i hate the hassle. Maybe switch to some mirrors with signals in them... i did that on a previous scoot and liked it.

so i got the cables last night and put them all on, Is there a trick to adjusting the throttle idle cables? because i have seen people on here with way more slack in their lines than i have and when i turn the bars to the right the idle cable feels like it binds and takes a second for fuel trap to snap shut. (doesn't even snap)

as a note, the clutch cable was way easier than everybody makes it seem. Also, i didn't even have to extend the wires.

i will take pictures when i get the tank and horn back on. lift tank and relocate the horn. Any suggestions on how to mount the horn?

Okay here are some pictures... if i ever got to see the sun here in upstate ny they would be better quality.

straight on and after this picture i decided that the mirror/turn signal setup had to change. i ordered some turn signal mirrors that i wont have until march sometime because the ebay user is away right now. (a little sketchy if you ask me, but i checked it out and seems okay)

side profile, note missing horn

Tank lift came out pretty good, i used some 1/8" flat stock aluminum. 1.5" lift from center to center.

here is the horn
