Default '06 and '07 Dynas

I expected there would be an increase in displacement in the new motors. However, it seems there are internal differences between the '06 and '07 Dynas. Do we have an oddball bike? Wonder how this will be for parts and aftermarket availability.

If you look at the new acc parts for the 06 dynas there still not alot they have 07 dyna chrome sprockets but none only the cover for the 06 alot of the new parts say fits 07-later dyna does this mean the 06 will become a forgotten bike a hybrid with less goodies available?

Have to check w/dealer on it. But many internals of the motor itself may transfer, just not the starter stuff and cases. The dimensions are not different, so the rest of the bikes are basically the same. So bling parts (mirrors, controls, etc.) would seem to be across the years.

Any 80 tooth sprocket will fit the 06 Dyna. You just have to use a pulley spacer.

Thanks, TJ. That's good information to begin with.

Hey, Jamie, you still have that Springer?
