getting my Ohlins shocks dialed in just right

Ohlins entry level (around $525.) work very well for me. The Intiminators work well in the front as long as you reduce an ounce of oil and account for the 5/8” length of the Intiminator by cutting the spring spacer. I ultimately put the Progressive Suspension drop-in lowering kit in the front and I really like the steering now. Finally, what made a HUGE difference and tied everything in for me was running the Pirelli Night Dragon tires. I had no complaints with the stock Dunlop 591’s until I tried the Pirellis. Now I’m stuck because I’ll never go back.

Those look great Unimoose! On my bagger they are hidden but if had a Dyna this would be the way to go.
One very nice thing about these shocks, because of how they are designed, they firm up the back end and make the bike's like the FLH and the Dyna's ride so much better because of it.
I have a Progressive Link Stablilizer on my FLHT and it did help firm things up but it also set up more vibration at the floorboards. With the Ohlins installed it feels even firmer without the vibration at the floorboards.

Appreciate all the responses. The problem with evaluating this stuff is, for me, it's easy to forget what I had. Just to repeat...I originally liked the Ricor emulators...better than stock (I also have Works triple rate springs in my Dyna). My lack of "being impressed" came aftrer I got the triple adjustable Ohlins. I had buyers remorse for 2 weeks (for spending so much on a $10k bike) untill I got them and tried em. Just unbeleivable.
It was then....that I became dissatisfied with the front end. Still am.
Rounder, if you ever get to SoCal PM me...you could ride my Dyna and we could compare notes. Would be fun.

Gotta say, I do find it interesting that a few have said the ricor emulators are not all that impressive.
