"pussafy"??? Oh, that's right, as your signature states "It's better to be dead and cool, than alive and uncool." My windshield is functional and removable, not about being "cool".

Get the detachable windsheild, i got one for mine and its great, I Couldnt give a rats *** if it pussafys my bike, Im the one riding it. besides, the wind pulls me back and my shoulders feel the strain and then my arms are in pain and i cant ride. the WS takes the pressure off my shoulders at highway speeds.
the detachable WS just has 4 levering clamps that wrap around the forks, lift the levers in all four spots and its off, my 5 yr old grandaughter could put it on and off the bike..no bolts, no brackets no scratching.
Really its all about enjoying the ride, and my bike still looks great with it on. ill go get some pics and bring them here and post for you.

I have been riding street bikes for over 20 years and have never had a windshield and have been on plenty of long interstate rides. If you feel you need a windshield buy a Geezer Glide
What he said, but I've been riding for around 30 years and honestly you buy a bike like a Wide Glide because it looks cool you want slap a windshield on it you might as well trade it in on a Minivan because that's how cool it looks. The fairing on an Electraglide serves a purpose and looks like it belongs on there not like an afterthought. But like the man said just my opinion your milage may vary.

Yep windshields look like crap and are about as cool as Richard Simmons, that's why you get a detachable one so that you can have your cool most of the time and only put the ugly thing on when it's really needed.

I got the HD Super Sport Quick Detach.

I plan, to use it only for cold rides, or like from here to California, Most of the time it will be in the hall closet.

Its a little tall but it works ok and without the cross bars it kind of dissapears on the bike. (At least thats what I'll tell myself when I have it on)
Happy new year !!!
