Yes. I did it. ALong with a bunch of others on here. It's not easy but not hard either. You have to be comfortable with cutting and splicing wires from your main harness. It's not cheap. I probably have about $1K in converting the tank.
I wish I had a detailed discription of how I did it. And took pictures of the process. I've had 1,000 PM's asking me how to do it. All I can say is it was trial and error for me and I don't have a 1-10 step by step on how to tell someone else. Took me about 4 months of ordering ****, collecting part numbers, etc.
Someone else on here might be more helpfull on the actual process and might have recorded all their part numbers and documented a formal how to.

dont think to much its bad for you. next thing you know you will be like me putting a 09 streetglide r/fender, 06 wdg tank, 09 fatbob f/fender, wdg front end, wdg glide sliders, 08 electric glide hardbags and so on, you get my point dont you. jackyl
