Got my Super Glide for Christmas

Congrats on the FXD. I got mine in Mar 2009 and rode it home. Rode it to work the next Monday when it was 42* outside. Froze my *** off but smiled all the way.
I remember hitting 100 miles. I also remember dropping it when it had 35 miles (it's easier to do than you think).
As others have said, ride like nobody see you and they are all out to run you off the road.
Have fun... you're on a Harley!

Good job on taking the MSF course. I learned some good things there and had a lot of fun. When I took the course, they had a film that showed motorcyclists out riding and doing things safely. The film ended by showing one of Evel Knievel's jumps, with an accompanying narrative along the lines of "when you graduate from this course, you'll be doing this...". It was very lighthearted and funny (and prompted one lady to ask "they don't really expect us to do that, do they?).
Your beautiful new SG is probably what I'll buy someday I hope you have lots of fun. My wife wants me to take her for a ride occasionally, so I'll have to buy a seat and backrest shortly afterward.
Lots of goodies to put on later...my brother-in-law says that's what HD means -- hundreds of dollars.
Ride safe.
