Congrats on the new dyna! And some advice to a new rider, ride within your limits and just because that car has their turn signal on, it doesn't mean there turning! Play it safe.

It's mid 60s here in Southern California. Great time to practice. Some shower forcasted for tomorrow. Low 70s Friday into the weekend. Back to work on Monday.
I have waved a few cars to go ahead at 3 or 4-way stops. I looked 3-4 times before proceeding from a stop. Better safe than sorry.
Relax, ride safely, and enjoy God's creations.

Congrats on the new ride friend, that looks like a nice ride you picked out. Take a few pics of it now because down the road, you may not recognize that bike now if you do like a lot of us here do, and modify, upgrade, change, fix, and when none of that is going on, then you planning on what to do to your bike next, haha.
Seriously though, Cali, lots of good things for riders, like LANE SPLITTING, you got a little ways down the road for that, but lots of bad too, like stupid drivers and a ton of em. Can I recommend to ya, being a new motorcylist, look into a motorcycle safety course. In two days you will learn a boat load and before you pick up bad habits now, you ought to look into it. It's probably about 150. but the knowledge when you lack the experience is priceless, even when you have the experience, it's a good refresher....

Congrats brotha! Take your time and don't ever get in a rush, ride like everyone see's you but wants to kill you. Stay out of blind spots and make your self visible, always. Joe 1984 is right get your self into a cycle safety program (riders edge). Also look up Jerry "Motorman" Palladino Ride like a pro videos lots of great info. Enjoy and ride safe.
