+ 1 on the o-ring - one of the few things at the dealer for a buck and well worth twice the price .

And you're right about good'en tight - I just have various settings of good'en tight built in to my 54 yr old right arm

So it's not a good'en tight like a rear axle nut - more like a good'en tight like a Chevy oil pan nut.

And yes I use my snap-on torque wrench all the time just funnin to get in the Merry spirit!

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't change it if you want.
