I just wanted to say thanks for all your helpful information as I have already made use of it, and hope to contribute. I ride a ‘09 Street Bob and love it! Taking it slow on the upgrades though.

I recently purchased a set of stepped Fatty Aped Zs. When I went to install them and the stepped portion just to the right and left of risers on the stock upper triple tree hit on the top of the fork tubes. Just wanted to generate awareness due to the integrated risers on the upper tree on the 09, and end up like me. My solution was to buy a new set of trees toss on some risers and install the bars. All parts are currently on order. Hopefully they will arrive in a couple of weeks and all fit. Will keep you posted.

I'm still figuring out the controls here on the forum. Guess I have no choice but to bend to the peer pressure of posting a pic. Hope this is ok, I resized it to roughly 300x300. That's me in the bottom corner, I will never claim to be a good photographer!
