Buy the bags you like then get a set of mounting brackets. There are some universal ones out there that might work with a little modification. You could also make a set of brackets if your handy, they are pretty simple. Or you could go with a set of Ghost Brackets or something similar.

I recently rode behind a guy on a Dyna that had added hard bags.
They looked OK sitting still, but those things were shaking around like they were either having a seizure or being processed while on the freeway.
I didn't ride behind him for long out of fear of them flying at me.

replace the attachment bolts with all thread, secure the all thread to the struts with jam nuts and leave enough all thread to hang the bags and secure the bags to the all thread with washers and acorn nuts. Less than 5 min. to remove/replace bags. When your running bagless you can cover the exposed all thread with ⅜” diameter spacers and the acorn nuts.
