We run a tailbag too...but it has paws and floppy ears in it also!

 

I don't think there's any question that my bike looks better without bags, but sometimes you got to bring some stuff with you.

I made my own leather bags, mounted with Easy Brackets that are quick disconnect, along with QD luggage rack/sissy bar. They are not beauty queens, but are extremely functional, and hail back to when 'we' built the **** ourselves... I can 'tour up' or strip down... and I like the looks of my horse... your opinions matter not

 

I just sold my FXDC, but I thought it looked gorgeous. I kept the bags, and I'll be selling them...

 

Nothing sucks the style out of a Dyna like saddlebags. But if you commute or travel, they're the way to go.

 

Thanks...it is the Kuryakn Pet Palace. I made it into a bolt on/off but just leave it on mostly since my lunchbox fits in it and I don't have to use bungies to strap it down to the rack.

It has so much room that I put a pillow in it for the dog to sit on...she loves it!

 

I absolutely love my new Road Glide, but the single, biggest, "downgrade" is going from the expandable bags on my Dyna to hard bags. I took a three day trip on the Dyna in June, and every one of the other riders told me: "Holy crap, I can't believe how much more stuff your bags hold than my hard bags!"

And they do come right off when you don't need them.
