IMO, bags on Dynas are ok, but the look better W/O. I use a leather through over when I have too but quick shed it when not needed.

Last week my granddaughter bought a set of V & H slip-on's for her '15 883 Camo Iron. She hates bags because " they don't look cool". So she loaded them in her backpack for a 25 mile ride to her dad's house, my oldest son, to put them on. Due to the weight, and sore shoulders and back, she is considering some sort of bags herself now.
I'm thinking I might look for a hard set that follows the rear fender contour, and detachable too, in conjunction with a solo seat and full fender rack I'm looking at. I have seen pics of the bags in question but no idea the brand.
As always, to each his own.
Mine are Harley Davidson Brand

I have a set of $100 leather throw overs that I have used on several bikes for over 5 years so far. Used them for two rides to Sturgis and mostly riding around when I may need rain gear or will stop to buy something that can be carried in the bags.

Hard to see them under the other stuff but this is when I loaded the Street Bob for the 2K round trip to Sturgis last year.

That is the most awesome pic ever. My brother was stationed on multiple destroyers when he was in the Navy. I totally appreciate this photo. I got to go onto the fan tail of the USS Fox once. It was amazing.

thanks for sharing!

I was being serious. Whats cool is totally subjective. Every body has their own opinion.
Personally I don't like bags on a Dyna. But I do go thru phases where I put some on my bike. Then get tired of 'em and take 'em off.
I got no problem wearing a backpack, it shows dedication to riding and is convenient.
