I like the looks of the new brown weathered look bags that match the brown seat on the CVO Fat Bob ... look good together ... I think I saw where someone on here has the setup ....

I prefer the looks of a stripped down Dyna ... but, sometimes compromises must be made for expediency sake ....

good saddle bags do not look "Uncool" if you look around and make sure the bags them selves look good..look up a post and those bags look great on that bike.

I prefer the look of my bike wirhout saddlebags and never cared for the bags that required a support bar.

I got the HD quick detach for Dyna's for when I take trips or to carry cold / wet weather gear.

They aren't cheap, but are well made and hold their shape and come off in two minutes to go into the hotel with me.

First off, it depends on the look your going for or, what you like.Me, I'm kind of a minimalist I'm always stripping stuff off my bikes but I have had leather throw-over slant bags on my bob and didn't think they looked too terrible. The thing is they're really not all that great for storage.I mostly ride my bike to work and back and for that a decent size gym bag or small duffle works better.I typically carry a thermos, lunch, extra gloves and for the ride home after work I might need someplace to put my jacket. For that a small to medium bag and a couple of bungees works just as well if not better than any saddle bags you're going to get on your Dyna.I had both throw over slant bags and then the same bags with the yoke cut out and easy brackets.I liked them better as throw overs secured to the bike with a few leather straps. The Easy Brackets rattled and never looked quite right to my eye.I think the Dyna is too small to look good with hard bags but that's just me.Here's a pic of my Rat King bagger

Sometimes function overides style. After I put bags on my Street Bob I realized I would put them on all my bikes. As soon as I figure out what to do with the plate and blinkers for my Wide Glide, those same bags will go on.
