I don't know how I missed this thread for so long...

I dig the bags!

They always seem full and I can hardly live with out them anymore... a shame really but oh well, least I didn't buy a bagger and I can always turn a key and remove them in the blink of an eye when I want to impress people with how cool I am.

Bry - take a look at Harley P/N 79211-08A ... think they're about $25 at Zanotti ... they're the Premium Tour-Pak Hinges and might look better than the hinges on your bags ... seems the police bags are less concerned with looks than the civilian-style bags ... not a fan of the hockey puck, but it's not that noticeable ... especially on a black bike like yours ....

Dunno if its been mentioned, but a guy at a local shop has bags from a Dyna Defender on his street bob, it looks mean!

That's about as sharp as I've seen. Police bags huh? Looks like you have to compromise alignment between the shocks and the pipes, and you kind of split the difference. Gonna have to keep an eye out for a set. Nice work Bry.

Default Bry's bags

Bry,

That's got to be the coolest bagged Dyna I've ever seen. Good one!

Hi -- the bags are Harley bags from a '08 Police Road King model. They weren't difficult to put on at all really. Watch this video -- it's essentially exactly what I did but I didn't have a second set of hands to help out.
