Who did you take your bike to? Dealer? Independent shop? Friend? How did they break off an exhaust bolt while putting on new handlebars?

I'd hope it was busted, and the mechanic noticed it. However you'd think the OP would have noticed the exhuast leak??

Default dem bolts

They're not making bolts the way they used to. I think its a conspiracy to sell more of those expensive torque wrenches. I was alot stronger 20 years ago and never busted a bolt. Now I'm breaking about half of them, no s*it!

I am recovering from a broken leg so my friend drove the bike to another buddy who is an exharley mechanic, he noticed the bolt when he was looking over the bike before he started the bars, it took 2 hours but he got the bolt out

So pb blaster is better than liquid wrench? I have a bolt that is stripped but can't get it too budge at all...I tried hitting it with the liquid wrench and putting a vice grip but that sucker does not budge at all...The bolt came out a bit before stripping
