Deposit on 06 Bob - Should I get the 07 Bob?
Hi Guys
This is my first post.
I have a deposit of £250 on a new 2006 Denim Black street Bob, however I now learn of the new 07 Bobs due out soon.
I still haven't got my license and should have it for early August.
Any advise would be welcome.
Would / Should my HD dealer be OK about this ??
Cheers

I guess it depends. Are you in the UK? How long do you figure it will take to get an `07? If the wait was not terribly long, I'd hold out a while longer for the `07's. For the new 96" motor if nothing else. If it's gonna take several extra months, I'd probably get the `06 just to get on the road. Since the Dyna's were redesigned for `06, there won't be any major changes for `07. It all depends on how important the extra cubes are to you and whether or not you still want Black Denim or one of the new colors.

The '06 bob is still a great bike. I guess it depends on how much you're willing to pay for the newer '07 and how much you could save on an '06. If it's within a thousand dollars US, I'd say go with the '07. If the $ difference is around 1500, 2000, definitely go with the '06 and consider yourself to have stolen it.

For only a couple of hundred more pounds, which for us is probably about 500 bucks, you'd be crazy not to get the '07. Can you get the '07 in denim black? if not, you can always have it painted black with a flat clear coat..........[&:]
The new motor is a stroker, which means more low RPM grunt......
