If possible, I'd try and get a demo ride on any Dyna from the '06 & '07 model ranges to evaluate the engine upgrade - the only major difference - before making a decision. A couple of things to consider:
You should be able to get a wacking discount on the '06 model because the UK dealers are pushing to clear old stock.
If delivery dates approach the winter period you need to decide whether you're going to lay the bike up until spring, in which case you may then want to wait for the new registration issue in March to protect your resale value. If you want to make the most of this summer - go for the '06 you won't regret it.
