Default Ricor rear shocks

I haven't seen this posted yet but looks like Ricor is now making rear shocks. Has anyone here placed an order yet? Looks like they would in the ballpark pricewise as Ohlins. At this point they are taking deposits. Make sure you read closely if you order. The add to cart price is $250. That is for a deposit for a limited run of the shocks. once they are ready to ship the balance needs to be paid. It does say they offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

From all the reports I have read it sure seems Ricor did a great job with the intiminators. hopefully these will work as well. I am looking forward to someone here reporting on them.

Yeah I was looking at them last night. They're pricey...over $800 for the pair. Not sure I want to spend that much on shocks. I'll go with the intiminators for my forks instead. I hear they work great!

PM Mud, he just put a pair on his bike and is selling his Ohlins. They are pictured in this thread. The black shocks with the blue coils.https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-glide-models/456451-south-texas-winter.html

There is a close up photo in post # 21 in that thread

pat attention to the shocks before ordering, they have a blue spring. lol.
get Ohlins or works for that $$. Also bear in mind that the progressive 440 has the ricor technology inside. You have heard ride reports on their shock. Too stiff.... works, Ohlins etc. 1000% better .... Of course the ricor may be much better than progressive(spring rates and valving).... Don't know about their lateral stability.

Yeah, even though I like the Ricor Intiminators, and would expect them to make an excellent shock, it doesn't make any sense to me to get these now.

Why be a beta tester on a more expensive shock than the proven Ohlins?

BTW, I think they changed the color of the spring to black. That is what the website currently says and shows.

I'm still saving my $$ for Ohlins.

Introductory price is $629.99. I'll change the site around some, I see how that could be confusing.
