That pic is one of my favorites as well, this one for some strange reason.

 

Oh, and ....as far as road closures go. If anyone has been to the dragon, the road was closed about 2miles north of the scenic lookout at the top. You could not go any further into TN than that.


SC-longhair..Are you saying that you must turn around and go back into NC entrance? I have a friend passing through in a few days and I was going to take her through. Thanks..Annette

 

Yes, you can ride the Dragon from NC up, but you have to turn around and go back to Deals Gap, no way to ride through TN at this time.

 

Jealous. Nuff said.
