Question What size are the mini apes on '09 FXDB?

I'm getting conflicting info from service techs and web sites. Are they 10" or 12"? I want to put black Burly narrow glide apes on mine but want to make sure 16" aren't too much. BTW, anyone put taller apes on '09 with integrated risers? Photos? Thanks in advance to all.

i couldn't really get a straight answer on my bars for my '08. parts guy at harley told me they were 10" and the tech at my local indy measured them at about 12...who knows.

Harley mini-apes are 10" That is why they are called mini, which is anything UNDER 12"
Factory mini ape specs:
Tip to tip= 32"
Base width= 10"
Rise= 10"
Pull back= 6.5"

Mini Apes, as said under 12" They are just perfect. How anyone can really control a bike with 16" apes is beyond me. I think the bike then controls them.

I'd be willing to put 14" inches on the future SB I will own

Depends on your height tho...I'm 6 feet what do you think would be best?
