Did a sissy bar on my Low Ryder. No problem.

1. remove the on bolt between the shock (no need to remove the shock) and the turn signal.
2. loosen the nut holding the turn signal fixture from inside the fender.
3. remove the spacer from between the fender and the chrome support.
4. install the new spacer with the sissy bar attachment
5. replace the turn signal and nut
6. slip the long bolt back in from inside the fender. This requires a certain amount of Emanual Dexterity's help especially on the right side.
7. repeat for the other side of the bike.
8. the rest should be staight forward.

The hardest part is getting your hands/ wrenches underneatht the fender.

Other than that - Just like tripper said.
