Tell him to replace the IPB with the heavy duty Baker one since you will already have it open.

Ill bring it up but i doubt he has the cash for that right now. The least i could do is check it out tho...he called me last night and asked me to help him by doing this for him (he's a newbie) cuz he knows i do my own work and an indy quoted him 250 in labor just to replace his cuz its stripped.

You can get one for $12.00-$16.00 from a bearing house. There are plenty of those in your area. I lived in Escondido for 20 years.
I can't find the package I had for the # but someone on here should have it.

Which shaft is he replacing? If it's the one that goes through the primary I have one if he needs it. It's the last piece of the mids I have left, cost of shipping and it's his. The baker bearing number is 6205Z if I remember correctly. I know it was posted in one of the IPB threads, might have been the one Patrick started with the poll.
