Yup I had to wait through what I thought was great import bikes to get to the harley .. enjoy the ride.. & yes battery tender is a must.

Def. sounds like the battery is dead. charge it up and give it a try.

Thanks for all the advice and warm welcomes. I'll do my best to get some pics up soon and i'm def. gonna go check the battery asap. just spooked me cause the lights and everything were working without a hitch and it just wouldnt turn over.

Charge and load test the battery and also check the charging system to make sure it is charging properly.

i agree with everyone else on the battery ordeal.. congrats on the new bike... i am 25 yrs old and just got my first harley its a great feeling isnt it??

Welcome to the forum! All the previous comments are spot on, may I suggest a HD battery as the replacement, the AGM is a good battery but if you like doing short rides the battery isn't getting a good charge. Get a "smart" battery tender and use it religiously to maintain the charge, the battery will appreciate it. Enjoy your "new" ride.
