This image shows the L/H side FB on my Dyna. The rear mounting bracket is bolted to the welding tab where the oem mid control is mounted as well.
Notice how the board's centre parts gets wider up front.... that's the part that touches when doing aggressive cornering at high speed
This image (posted by yso191 in thread Dynas in motion) shows how deep a bike leans over.....
The FXDL has the speedo/tacho combination on the tank:

Are the boards on the correct sides of the bike?? Looks like the Harley shield is upside down from the riders perspective..maybe the wider part won't touch if they were reversed...

Welcome to the forum from the Netherlands.
I read your visitor message in my profile page and trying to send you an answer I noticed you didn't set your user-profile to receive Personal Messages.... In order to be able to receive PM's go to UserCP and choose Edit Options. Now Enable Private Messaging and scroll down the page to save these settings.
