Although my 7" light is from Custom Chrome i fitted bullet connectors to the light and stock wires and they sit inside the shell. Simple job anyone can do.

How did the old wires come out? I thought they were attached to a plastic connector? Also, is there a ground on the stock unit? The aftermarket unit I bought has a ground wire soldered to the bucket itself. Any help would be appreciated before I begin taking my stock unit apart to put my 7" on.
