chrome pipe, get the shields. On the black pipes the shields will keep their color, while the pipes get more flat with use. Usually the black ones look better wrapped. BTW, last saint has pictures in his gallery with his old 04 with a wrapped chrome thunderheader. This way you can decide which way to go.

honestly I think a black TH would look killer on that bike. However I got a sweet deal on the chrome and thought "what the hell, I bet it will look good anyways". I figure if I hate it I can have it powder coated or high temp painted. I wonder if pipes can get powder coated?

i bought a chrome thunderheader and ended up painting it black with high temp paint it looked good but the paint is very soft and scratched easy ... then i had it ceramic coated black and i love it .
